Interesting. I'm not able to recreate, but I know why this problem could happen.

Can you do this?

Type about:config in your URL bar.

Search for the preference

javascript.options.showInConsole

And set it to true (double click it).

Then select Tools->Error Console and see if there are any errors that mention ctrlaltdel or lookingforgroup.

Usually when there are two small booms, it means we got some sort of error.

the error seems to disappear from the console after that initial point though.

That's the only error you see? That one's related to the website. We're looking for one that maybe starts with chrome or something like that.

Can you try disabling Personas Plus and see if that fixes it?

Thanks for that, is seems to have done the trick, I had to delete it though as even in safe mode I couldn't access Add-ons from the toolbar (nothing would happen when selected) so I had to remove the Personas folder from my profile.
