I’m sad

not computer savy enough HELP

Hi, I've just gotten a new computer. XPpro to W7pro. I had FireFox 6.0.2. I've downloaded it onto the new unit. On my old setup I have my own image along with the sprocket looking icon with left & right arrows and weather icon. Along with this I have a "MANAGE" button with a "MY-PIX"button. How do I get all of that on my new browser? Hopefully without the 'Make Your Own!' button. I don't remember having trouble before. There's also a 'search' button.

You can use the same add-on as before and download it at http://brandthunder.com/canvas. This build should have the change to our system that allows you to click the Make Your Own button once and it'll go away. (I'm confirming that with development, but believe that change has been released a week ago. Depending where you got the theme originally can affect how long it takes for the change to get to everyone.)

Or, you can try our latest do-it-yourself theme creator at http://brandthunder.com and click the Try It Now! button the feature. This will take you to our new drag and drop theme builder. Which, ironically, where the Make Your Own button is taking people.

If these don't work for you, let us know and we'll ask more technical questions to help troubleshoot.

    Thanks Kevin.

I hate to be a dumb bunny, but; I guess I am. The Make It button did clear. The canvas program [MANAGE/MY-PIX] buttons are back. But: when I activate the manage button; the window opens with an intro page of sorts. When selecting an image it changes to the move-it, pin-it page. Now the big thing seems to be that on both units the window is not large enough to contain all the buttons etc. The old machine (XP) showes OK and Cancel. The new (W7) won't open far enough for the OK Cancel buttons. On neither machine can I grasp a part of the window and drag it into a larger opening. I figure I most be doing something wrong.
Thanks for all of your help, I love your program.

It sounds like your monitor resolution has changed and the manage window is off screen. I'm not on a Windows machine, but there are two things you can try.

    1. Click the window you want to move, then hold down the Alt key and while you hold it down, use an arrow key to move the window in the direction you want. Not sure this will work for this kind of window, but if I remember correctly, it does for desktop software windows.

    2. You can temporarily change your monitor resolution from say 1200x800 to 1920x1200. I think you can right click over your desktop and that will lead you to an option where you can modify your Display. Once you change your monitor, all the windows will be smaller on your screen, you can move them all to the center then put the monitor resolution back to the way you like it. After the change, the software should remember where to open it.

If neither of these options work, let me know. I know how frustrating this can be. I've been stuck with the exact same issue and it's not fun.
