How do I get rid of "brand thunder refinements" on google searches?

i recently updated a firefox theme. immediately after i noticed that whenever i search something in google, there are related search suggestions at the top of the page labelled "brand thunder refinements". HOW DO I MAKE THESE GO AWAY? thanks for any help.

Sorry you don't like them.

Which boom do you have?

We have added a way to turn them off and need to make sure it works in your Boom.

Try this:

Type about:config in your browser's url bar.

Click "I'll be careful, I promise"

Right click and select New->Boolean

For the preference name, type:

extensions.brandthunder.scRefinements

set it to false.

This should disable the refinements
