Free Realms Problems Please Help

I get an error message saying "unable to authenticate" at the bottom right of my screen whenever I try to play the free realms. I tried turning my firewall off a short time to see if that would work and it did not. Is there a firefox setting that is preventing me for playing? I shut off all add ons. I can play the game warcraft fine. I'm worried I won't be able to play with my friends anymore. We all used to play free realms,but I stopped a while and now I can't.
