Can default New Tab page be changed?
I recently downloaded the LFG Boom for Firefox and have since noticed that when I open a new tab, instead of the blank page that previously opened, now I'm taken to a Yahoo search page. I was just curious if users could manually change this default new tab page. If so, how?

We have a way to turn this off now.
To disable the tab search, try this:
Try this:
Type about:config in your browser's url bar.
Click "I'll be careful, I promise"
Right click and select New->Boolean
For the preference name, type:
extensions.brandthunder.tabSearch
set it to false.
This should disable the tab search.

Inappropriate? Not at this time. We'll add a way to turn it off in a future release.
Sorry about that.

Inappropriate?Yes, an easy way to change this would be nice. I love my Canucks tool bar, but opening up yahoo everytime is annoying.
I’m frustrated.
-
Inappropriate? Also, when you just type something into the address bar it's also yahoo search.
I’m sad.

Inappropriate? For the keyword search, follow the same procedure as above, only set extensions.brandthunder.keywordSearch to false

Inappropriate? You can change the keyword search to google or whatever your preference is...
In About:Config search for the word keyword. You can disable the search by double clicking on 'keyword.enabled' or change the default search to another by changing the 'keyword.URL' to a search engine of your preference.
