"Open Link in New Tab" broken in Firefox 3.6b4
Using the Pittsburgh Penguins theme here in the new Firefox 3.6b4 and it's broken the "Open Link in New Tab" feature of Firefox completely. Whenever I try that option, it opens a blank page. The URL is there, but it will just not load unless I go up to the address bar, click on the URL field and hit enter on my keyboard. That's the only way to get the new tab to load.

Unfortunately some things changed for Firefox 3.6 and we'll be refreshing our booms.
Can you try turning off tab search completely and seeing if that fixes it?
Type about:config in the URL bar.
Right click and select "New->Boolean"
Name the preference:
extensions.brandthunder.tabSearch
set it to false.
Then restart the browser.

No, that did not fix the problem.
Oh, and I'm running Windows 7 64-bit if that helps. -

Just a quick update, the Firefox 3.6 updates are getting underway. Penguins is near the top of the list. Unfortunately, don't have an exact date for you.

I fixed this by turning off the add-on 'Tab Control 0.5.2' this addon obviously needs updating/fixing.

I'm using the default theme in version 3.6.2 and I'm having the same problem.

With the Penguins? What version of the Penguins Boom? Do you have any other extensions installed?
